Who We Are
Blue Gloves Hospital is located at No. 67 Edet Akpan Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. It was incorporated on the 19th July 2019 with the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and registered with the Akwa Ibom State government.
Our History
Blue Gloves Hospital was borne out of the need to cater for the health needs of the paediatric population of Uyo, bridging the existing gap of healthcare delivery at the time. Later on, it progressed into offering healthcare services to both the adult and paediatric population.
It started as a 2-bed space clinic which been upgraded over time to a 6 bed space for older children and adults and a newborn with 8 bed spaces. The newborn unit was established in August 2021 and has so far cared for over 100 preterm and term neonates.
